Professional Development

Since 1997, we have conducted a wide range of professional development offerings including numerous conferences and Summer Institutes and hundreds of presentations and workshops.

We have also developed and sponsored a lecture series and a number of university-level courses in social, emotional and academic educational theory and practice.

Our approach and educational mission is specifically aimed at:

• Providing educators, mental-health professionals, after-school workers and parents with tangible strategies and exercises to positively impact school climate;
• Supporting the instructional and or systemic dimensions of evidence-based social, emotional, ethical and academic learning;
• Measuring and improving school climate;
• Fostering learning and teaching about best practices and relevant research.
