Frequently Asked Questions
Does CSEE offer a range of PD offerings? What do you think is most important to begin with?
The answer to this question depends on your past PD work, current goals and future plans. It is clear that "one shot" PD offerings have little impact. Each school - like every person - has their own history, strengths and needs and goals. What is most important is that your PD plans build on past efforts and a current understanding of the school community's strengths, needs and goals.
Is there someone at CSEE who we can talk to about developing a PD plan?
Yes. Jonathan Cohen, Ph.D. (President) can be contacted by telephone (212 707-8799) or e-mail (jcohen@csee.net). In fact, we always confer with schools to shape our PD offerings in ways that address your needs. Sometimes, it is useful for Jonathan or other CSEE staff to meet with your school planning team.
Are there pre-requisites or requirements to take advantage of these offerings?
No
Do you offer on-line learning programs?
CSEE is now developing a series of "learning modules" to support social, emotional, ethical and academic learning, classroom management, adult social emotional learning, educator-mental health partnerships and much more. If you would like to learn about these modules, please contact Jonathan Cohen, Ph.D. (President) by telephone (212 707-8799) or e-mail (jcohen@csee.net) for the latest information on our online learning programs.
