The CSCI Surveys
The Comprehensive School Climate Inventory (CSCI) is a scientifically sound assessment tool that recognizes K-12 student, parent and school personnel experience.
In other words, this "360" tool compares and contrasts how all members of the school community feel and think about what is working most effectively and what is are the barriers to student learning and a safe, caring and responsive school.
There are currently five versions of the CSCI Survey. These include:
- School Personnel Survey - assesses how teachers, administrators, paraprofessionals, secretaries, safety agents, school based mental health professionals and others feel and think about school life. To view a sample of the CSCI School Personnel survey click here.
- Parent Survey - assesses how parents and/or guardians feel and think about their child's school. There is a Spanish as well as English version for parents. To view a sample of the Parent survey click here.
- Student - Version I: This is the High School Student Survey and assesses how 9th through 12th graders feel and think about their school. To view a sample of the High School Student survey click here.
