Position: Web Developer
Schedule: Full Time
Objective: We are an educational not-for-profit looking for a junior web developer to help build out the organization's web site as well as develop a number of interactive web applications using a variety of technologies.
Responsibilities: The person will play a critical role in developing web based tools and data driven systems to support student learning. Responsibilities will include:
- Developing, managing and updating a web site/portal
- Helping to develop and implement a data driven systems
- Managing and helping to direct web-based forums
Required Experience:
- XHTML, CSS
- JavaScript
- A Server-side Scripting Technology (preferably ASP or ASP .NET)
Preferred experience:
- DotNetNuke
- A Relational Database Management System (preferably Microsoft SQL Server)
- Adobe Flex/Adobe Flash/ActionScript
- Adobe Illustrator/Adobe Fireworks/Adobe Photoshop
- AJAX
- Mashups
- Salesforce.com

Office Manager, Center for Social and Emotional Education
Position: Web Programmer
Schedule: Full Time
Objectives: We are looking for an experienced web programmer to work at the Center for Social and Emotional Education (CSEE) on full time basis to work on a number of programming related activities. The primary task will be helping to develop and program a new "case study program" to track students social, emotional and academic learning. In addition, there will be programming that focuses on revising existing programs and building on CSEE's web site (www.csee.net) and portal.
Responsibilities: Web Programming.
Required Experience:

Ideally, the applicant has a degree in Computer Science and is able to demonstrate an array of interactive web applications he/she has built from start to finish.
Compensation: Negotiable.

Internships in Psychology and Education
There are two internship opportunities at CSEE: immediate part time internships and summer internships.
Part Time Internship:
The Internship will involve working with and assisting the president of CSEE in a number of ways:
- Reading and summarizing research papers in education and mental health
- Helping to develop CSEE's web site and educational DVD's about social emotional education
The internship will involve a one to two day a week commitment.
Summer Internship:
Summer Interns will involve working CSEE staff in a number of ways:
- Helping to organize and coordinate CSEE's 11th annual summer institute
- helping to organize CSEE's library
- Reading and summarizing research papers in education and mental health
Summer internships are full time.
Required Background:
Applicants need to have taken undergraduate courses in psychology or education. In addition, the applicant needs to have a serious interest in supporting children's healthy development.
Compensation:
Internships are unpaid. Interns will learn a great deal about mental health and education. The internship will have the opportunity to assist with research projects and summer educational events as well as working with an extraordinary team of educators and clinicians.
